There was a very successful exhibit at the Caroline STEM night last night (elementary school) that I thought would be worth sharing. It was super simple: Kids could either hammer a nail in a piece of 2x6, or saw a piece off of a 2x6.
What amazed me is how much this kids enjoyed it. There were two stations and a line to use them for the entire duration of the event. It out performed all other stations except ‘make your own ice cream’, which was of course fun too.
It may be something to consider next time we have an open house.
