Diversifying our board and organization

I am obviously not advancing this conversation in a positive direction. To be perfectly clear, Jenn has shared some concerns with me on this subject, and my post did not make that clear.

A plan from the board for making a list of potential board members and plan for recruiting would be a great first step toward making women feel like they belong at IG. It seems like a no brainer to me.

I’d like to add that we are losing several board members in fall of 2016 bc their terms will be up. Starting the recruiting process now will help to make that transition smooth.

fyi - it is my plan to run for a board seat fall 2016. so i am interested in this transition year…
